Operation Second Impact

ATTN: OPERATION SECOND IMPACT - REQUEST FOR FIRE TEAM

The Union Science Bureau has requested your participation in a, quite frankly, hastily assembled and foolhardy operation. 

In 16 hours, a small moon in a small system on the edge of the Karrakin Trade Baronies’ space will be struck by a meteor, destabilizing a research base operated by the House of Smoke. In 24 hours, you will be in the center of that research base, doing your damnedest to tie down whatever paracausal abomination they've cooked up, then hightailing it out of there before the shower of meteors the Union Navy launched will decimate the moon.

Failure means the release of this “thing”, the death of millions of Karrakins in nearby spaceports, and probably the wrath of Ra for being remotely involved in birthing and trying to kill one of its children with a meteor…

Be on deck in 2 hours. We have work to do.

OPERATION SECOND IMPACT is a Third Party mission module designed for the Lancer TTRPG! This module is submitted as part of the most recent Lancer Game Jam. In this mission, your players will infiltrate a research base to kill some-thing. This mission is suitable for any level, and can be split into two separate missions if desired.
